• Hp Dvd1040e Driver

Hi, I have an external DVD RW device - an HP dvd 1040e - and I am trying to use it on an old desktop computer running Windows 98. When I plug it in to the USB port, the device is not recognized and it cannot find drivers. Are there some drivers I can use to get this device to work on this particular computer?

I can get to the Internet from this paricular computer, but the browser is so old that when I go to the HP website the browser crashes. I can download drivers to another computer, put them on a floppy disk, and take them to this particular computer. Thank you very much!
