The number '-192' is also displayed in the message; this is the error code. Cause: The PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file may have become corrupt. This can happen if you have been editing Gamma Curves using the Oki PostScript Utility, and switching between different keyboard layouts, or changing the decimal separator in the Numbers Control Panel.

For example, this error may happen after performing the following steps: i. Create a custom gamma adjustment and save it in the PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file ii. Switch the Decimal separator in the Numbers Control Panel from comma (European) to full stop (UK).

Create another custom gamma adjustment and save it in the PPD file. Try to print a document. You can verify this is the actual cause by selecting a different PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file for your printer. If this error -192 does not reappear with the different PPD, then your Oki PPD file has become corrupt. Solution: Re-install the PPD file, either from your original driver's CD-ROM, or from a later version downloaded from the OKI Printing Solutions web site. Note: If you've created custom gamma curves for your printer, these will still be available on your Mac even if you reinstall the original PPD file.
